My co-workers found a VALCOM device to make Valcom multi-zone overhead paging units in a VOIP environment work. At remote sites that you are going completely IP, like i2004 and i2002 and no POTs lines etc... there is finally a way to do overhead paging over IP on a multi -zone system, plus you get 3 anologue lines over the same card. After a lot of hard work and creative ingenuity, and Cisco FXS cards they finally were able to get the paging to work over the data network. I know that there are paging over IP units out there but at what cost$$$?
