Have you turned on NMS in Call Pilot if so why?
We are experiencing a problem in our 19 pbx network. We have our Call Pilot installed in pbx "A". When a person in pbx "A" calls anyone else in pbx "A" and gets routed to voice mail they hear the internal greeting of that mailbox( thats ok) . However if someone from pbx "B", "C", "D", "E" or any of our other pbxs calls a users in pbx "A" and gets routed to voice mail, they hear the external greeting of that mail box.
Is this a scenario where NMS (Network Messaging Service) comes into play? NMS sounds very elaborate just for making the internal greetings work. We didn't have to configure all these ACDs and different site IDs when we had MERMAIL. Even though my arguement is to just have people record their "External Greeting" because I have found in the past that people forget to change it when they go on vacation, we are still asking if anyone is having an issue with internal and external greetings or just if you have NMS turned on and if so why? |
