Re: Software Installation from the scratch
The easiest way to install from scratch is:
Option 11C - Obtain copy of software and place on PCMCIA card. Place card in slot A. Perform a sysload. When prompted, press "CTRL - I" for the installation menu. You are now ready to install software. Option 81C - Place the installation disk that matches your release and processor type in to the floppy drive of the side you are working on. Sysload. The disk has and installation script that will bring up the install menu when you boot from it. You are now ready to install software. I am pretty sure that these are covered in an NTP somewhere. Specifically what comes to mind the the upgrade procedures for the core switches. Good luck. Cav - Out. |
