currently i need to set a phone so that it can receive any incoming calls but only make local and toll free outgoing calls. right now, i can dial two toll free area codes but not the standard 1-800 numbers. i have the NCOS set at 2, the CLS set at CTD... does anyone know why these choices are not allowing the phone to call 800 numbers?
is there somewhere i need to go add the 800 prefix in the pbx itself?
i've contacted our support but the company who sold us this software (otm opt 11 c.) does not have staff that is familar w/ this software so i'm kinda in the dark as far as figuring out settings

Try NCOS 5. NCOS 7 will give give u access to all area codes and if I am right NCOS 5 only gives local and toll free. Give it a shot and let me know how it goes!

thank you for the advice but that wouldn't work as the ncos 5 would allow for long distance calls in the US and Canada & the phone can not have any long distance other then toll..but what did work *finally * was when i set the TGAR to 2, NCOS to 2 and CLS on unr...edited to add: also had to have the telephone company redirect where the 800 numbers were pointing to get them to go..so between the two, was able to get it to work the way i needed it

i have inheirited this system - so much of it is messed up (names, locations etc) and to boot i've had a bit of a learning curve...glad i've found this forum- i've been reading through for any thing that might help w/ some of the problems
