Clid form Avaya is not working

Hi Team,

The Nortel 81C & Avaya is interlinked thru Pri2 Loop.

Scenario 1:

Say from Nortel extn 19889(Digital) is dialing extn 13876(Digital) of AVAYA .The Digital instrument connected in AVAYA gives the CLID (19889).

Scenario 2:

But when From AVaya (13876) is trying to reach Nortel (19889).There is no CLID information.

Can you suggest for this.

Re: Clid form Avaya is not working

If you call the dn on the Nortel system (19889) from another DN on the Nortel system do you get the CLID?

If you call from the Avaya DN (13876) to a different DN on the Avaya system do you get the CLID?

If yes to both of these questions then you need to check the programming of the PRI on the Avaya system to make sure it is sending out the CLID.

If no to either of these questions then you need to check the programming of the phone on the system that does not show the CLID.

On the Nortel system you need to make sure that the phone has CLS = ADD .

Sorry but I am not familure with the Avaya system so I cannot help you there.
