2616 speakerphone
I have several 2616 speakerphones on an Option 61 that have low volume when you place a call. If you hit the mute key, the volume increases, but when you hit it again the volume goes down again. The phones are not located in a noisy area.
Thanks |

Re: 2616 speakerphone
When the people are on the calls do they use the volume control bar beneath the keypad?

Re: 2616 speakerphone
See if these phones are Type I or Type II. There is a problem with a chip inside of the type I M2616 that causes this problem. You will have to have them repaired to fix the problem. (if they do not replace the chip it will not fix the phone)
On a type I the place where the handset plugs in is a half inch from the edge of the phone on a type II it is at least an inch to an inch and a half. |
