I have recently upgraded on option 11c from rls. 22.08 to 25.40b, but now when the users make calls, both
internal and external, the remote end hears popping and clicking of varying degrees.This is only the users on the 2nd cabinet. This is what I've tried so far to clear the trouble. I've replaced the fibre daughterboard on the SSC, replaced the fibre between the cabinets, replaced the fibre receiver card in the 2nd cabinet, tried replacing the power supply in the 2nd cabinet, took a new digital line card to site and programmed
tn's in slots 11 through 20 to see if it was a bad slot. The only other ideas I have are either the software
daughterboard from the upgrade is bad or replace the SSC card or replace the 2nd cabinet.

I have also checked the grounding on the system.

If anyone has seen this or has any other ideas, please reply, thanks for you're time in advance.

You have done all attempts to be solved this kind of fantastic problem. If you hadn't yet try these, do now: Shutdown the system for 10 minutes and then restart and see what is come up. If not yet solved, you should change the Main SSC Card. I dont have any other suggestion to mannage it.
