Line Verification Numbers

I am looking for phone numbers that I can dial that will tell me the phone number I am calling from. I am moving a switch and need to verify the lines on my punchdown block.

What do you call this service anyway? I have used numbers like this before but have since lost them.

Thanks.

We have called it ANI ( Automatic Number Identification ) pronounced " ANNIE "

Re: Line Verification Numbers

I've heard them called ANIBILL (Annie Bill) for Automatic Number Identification - Billing Number; CLI for Calling Line Identification.

Verizon uses 958.1114
