Avaya Education?
Does anyone have suggestions on how to educate myself on Avaya, specifically G3si and Octel? I do a lot of reading of manuals and I'm almost always able to solve problems and figure out solutions. Really would like to get Avaya certified.
Are there some good publications that go through different scenarios and solutions and really explain them? Thanks, Pen |

Re: Avaya Education?
You really need to go to an actual class and get certified.
Self educated is fine, but actual classes show you a lot you might not even have thought of. I just returned from IP Office training and I thought I knew what I was doing, the class was excellent for understanding the box on a more fundamental level and the scenarios presented were excellent. The G3 and Audix training was excellent as well, I doubt I could do half of what I can had I not been certified. The cert is good should you move on to another employeer as well, nothing helps like paperwork. Just my 2 cents. knewshound |
