One thing that keeps me confused is the differences between names and versions. Can someone straighten me out on this once and for all?
The confusing names to me are Multivantage, ACM, Communication Manager, call center, Definity release etc. How many "parts" is there and what possible versions and where do I look to tell what is what? I keep thinking I must have an OS version, then a call center version etc. The only version I see is: R012i.01.1.414.1. I understand this is release 12 but of what? It seems that ACM is usually measured as 1.x, 2.x and now 3.0. Thanks to anyone who can clear this all up or point me to documentation that explains it. |

Re: Avaya Versioning
MultiVantage is the old name, Communication Manager is the new name.
Release 11.x.x is Communication Manager 1.x.x Release 12.x.x is Communication Manager 2.x.x (in your case CM2.1.1) Release 13.x.x is Communication Manager 3.x.x Call Center is a group of applications that run within Communication Manager. My mind has gone blank and I do not recognize ACM. Perhaps someone else can do that one and then I will go "Of Course!!"
