RespOrg = RESPonsible ORGanization
This is the long distance provider that has responisibilty for an 800 toll free number.

Does anyone know of a way to find out where a toll free number goes? In other words, if I wanted to know who I would be calling were I to dial a toll free number, how could I find out?

the only way I know of is to issue a supoena to the RESPORG. and of course, the only way to do so is via a law suit.
It is very difficult to find out where a Toll Free number goes, and who it 'belongs to' (ie. end user). |
