Just recently, we swapped the Merlin for Toshiba's CTX in one of our district offices. After installation, it seems that one phone/one port does not allow the touch tones necessary to navigate through the Fed Ex voice processing system. The other phones work fine when using the Fed Ex Voice Processing app.
Any ideas as to why all other phones/ports work fine for this application but not the one phone/port? All other dialing with this phone is ok. Is it because of a bad port? Thanks for your help

Re: Toshiba System - Touch Tones
If the CTX follows suit with previous Toshiba product, then check to see if the offending phone has a speed dial key programmed for it. Previously, the " * " key was used for speed dial access, if no speed dial button was assigned to the set. In these cases, you would have to press " * # " to activate the ability to use the " * " and " # " keys for touch tone usage.
