Question IP Office user variables w/short codes

I have a user variable that seems to be not toggiling when using shortcodes...The calls fall through to the queue. It was working and now is not. Anybody got a hint or clue?

What is actually happening...like how does the call come in and what do you expect it to do?

It is a beatifully crafted routing that was working great..
The call comes into the system, checks to see if we are open using a test condition. Then using a user variable that can be set with *94 to close, *93 to open . Then it will check to be sure we haven't set all the calls to be forwarded to reception using another user variable that is set with *97 to forward, *98 to not.
If it passes all the tests they get into a menu which directs them to one of 6 queues. The problem is that it always goes through whether the variable tests true or false..very annoying.. hopefully the upgrade will fix it...
