CCC Server/Client different subnets
Has anyone tried to do a CCC Server-Client install where the client is on a different subnet than the Server? I'm having a devil of a time with it. I've setup the LMHOSTS file on the client, so it knows what IP address goes with the server's NetBIOS name, I can ping it by IP or name from the client machine, but CCV can't find the delta server.
Any advice would be much appreciated. Cephas |

Re: CCC Server/Client different subnets
I am having these same issues now with CCCV5 I can get to the client reports but when I try to run the CCV on the Client I can find the server that the CCC resides on but when I try to connect I get an avaya networking error. There is two subnets 10.21.9.152 is where the IPO server is on the other subnet is 10.20... When I connect into the 10.21 side I get the error when I connect into the 10.20 I dont see the server. I dont understand because I can still get the reports from either subnet but not the CCV to connect any ideas??? I have installed the IIS apps and the OS is 2003 standard with no service packs.
Thanks |
