Question echo on IP4606 phones

Situation: VPN line/IP trunk is succesfully establihed between IP403 and Definity, everything is working properly only there is an echo on IP4606 phones. Can anything be done about this matter? Also, when setting VPN line the "enable faststart" checkbox is checked, should this be done also with VPN extention? There is also "enable faststart" check box.

What version are you running? I had the same problem and when I upgraded to 1.4 the problem was resolved.

If its not happening between a 4606 to another 4606 on the same network/system, and only happening when calls are placed going across the VPN/IP trunk line, then I would try changing the compression manually inside the Trunk. I had this problem with a customer and I changed the compression and it seemed to do the trick.
