Under "Users" there is a recording tab, click the drop down for how often you want to record in/outbound calls. And the other dropdown is for where the calls will be recorded.

But remember that each recording will use a voicemail channel.

Re: Extn to Extn call recording -technical

Hi Folks,

I need internal recording from extension to extension, not the external call transferred from extension to extension. I know this can be done by routing the call through an ATM port and we wants to virtualize the call flow as its going though ATM port (loopping the call). duting this config we cannot alter the CLI display of external call aswell as extension number on display.

pls very urgent,

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THe option which you are requesting cannot be done, as the CLI and the Extension number display cannot be blocked on IPO...

CLI by default can be blocked on analog ports...

Recording can be categorized only as either Internal or External....

The above is correct if you want automatic recording to take place of the call (extn to Extn). You can however have a shortcode or button on the ds handsets to manually record and this will do extn to extn.

We can configure an record button on the set to record an internal call, but we have to switch the button for every call to enable recording.....
