Has anyone networked an IP Office back to a Definity Prologix? I am told that it can be done, but I am just looking for some feedback. Also, just looking for a general option of the product and the features that it offers.

In addition to that I have been able to network an IP Office with a prologix and many other Definitys via many methods (ISDN, T1, h.323) pretty succesfully. Is there something specific you wanted to know or just how it went overall?

Basically, just wanted to get some feedback on what people think about the IP Office product. We are going to take a hard look at it and would like to hear some success/failure stories. I looks like IP Office would be a great fit for a small branch office. I work for a bank and we have several small branches (6 to 10 employees). Have you had any issues networking it to an Intuity Audix for centralized voicemail? Thanks for your feedback.

I have installed many IP Office products and they are a good fit for what you are looking at. I have not networked on to an Intuity ... YET ... but I know that day is coming. Quoting the Release 1.3.2 notes from Feb of this year the platform included "Increased networking capabilities through increased support of the QSIG protocol, including Intuity AUDIX® (via DEFINITY® and MultiVantageTM platforms)."
However, depending on your voice/data connectivity to the main branch, you might be better off with an MCK Branch Office solution. Many Banks have employed MCK Branch Office products with great success. It can be much more cost effective since the only Processor involved is the main bank's Definity and it is IDEAL for the 6-12 extension branch office solution. I installed an MCK Solution for 24 brokers in NYC who were displaced by the 9-11 disaster. We connected the MCK Branch Office solution to their Main Office in Stamford, CT and re-routed their local DID lines to CT as well. They pulled dial-tone from Stamford until they were able to move back into their own building where their own Definity ProLogix was DCS'd back to Stamford. It was virtually transparent to both the users and the customers. Feel free to contact me directly if I can answer any of your questions regarding MCK. My contact info is on my website ... OR we can start an MCK thread in the Definity Server forum.
