Upgrading IP Office

Hi,

Does anyone know of a document that gives step by step instructions for upgrading the IP Office OS and modules? More importantly to me is how to recover if something goes wrong.

Thanks.

Re: Upgrading IP Office

Go to Avaya.com search the downloads page for IP Office. Under the current maintenance build there will be pdf docs with the instructions. If you are not a vendor and are trying this for the first time...call a vendor. OR dont complain when you get charged your first 3 kids to fix your screw-up.

Re: Upgrading IP Office

Thanks Phone dude. I have done just that. They will be here this week to perform the upgrade. I really just wanted to read up first so that I would hopefully be better able to watch and learn.

Re: Upgrading IP Office

Hi again,

I have downloaded the updates but have not found a document yet that gives instructions on how to do the updates. There is a PDF (IP Office Admin Suite.pdf) in the Admin folder but I can't open it. I've tried the lastest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader as well as an earlier version (4.0). Both say there was an error opening this document. File does not begin with '%PDF-' or that it is not supported or has been damages. I tried two different versions of the Admin downloads 4_1_12 and 4_1_9.

Anyone else have these problems?
