Monitoring hunt groups using TAPI
Avaya says you can use the TSP to do this in 3rd party mode with ACD queues enabled. We have the license to use this mode, but the methods I've tried do not work.
(This is my third attempt to post this, the first two with a single URL to the Avaya technical tip regarding this. Both of the first two attempts complained that I was spamming links) |

Re: Monitoring hunt groups using TAPI
I have determined the cause of the problems I was having. Apparently there is a limit to how many extensions can have registration tokens. It seems that only the first 150 or so extensions listed in 3rd Party mode can be monitored. After clearing a number of unused extensions from the control unit, I was able to get a registration token for a hunt group extension and was therefore able to receive events for queued calls.
Thank you for pointing me to the DevConnect website. Although there are no forums there for IP Office development (at least not at the level of user I am), I was able to download the TAPI3 driver (tspi3w.tsp and officemsp.dll) and samples without ordering a $450 CD containing the same. Hopefully, if someone else should happen to be looking for this problem, they will find this answer. |
