Waiting for line
Have a 412 installed with two PRI's, 4.0.7. Why do some calls show "waiting for line" for 4 to 5 seconds when trunk utilization show trunks are available? And some calls go immediately and some "waiting for line" last longer than 10 seconds.
Any information on this would be appreciated, seems to have started with 4.0. Danny Rich Agility Communication Group |

Take a look at your short codes. Alos, look at ARS. I was used to 3.2 and would have to make shortcodes for dialing out. If you upgraded from 3.2, those shortcodes are supposed to be put in ARS tables, but may not have.
Alos, you will know what short codes to look at by making test calls. Trace your extension in SSA, when you make a call....and if you get "waiting...." it will show what shortcode was matched and used to dial out. |
