IP 500, R 4.0 Voicemail Pro Ringback Issue
I have an issue with an IP500, R 4.0. It was installed 2 weeks ago.
Here is what happens: An outside caller calls the main number (6400). The receptionist answers. Worker is not in. She offers them their voice mailbox. I.e.: Transfer # 7103 and hangs up. 1-2 minutes later the front desk phone rings and the receptionist hears, “Ext 7103 is unavailable, please leave a message after the tone." So it is the employee’s mailbox on the switch calling the front desk. Also if a remote user calls the main number and asks to be transferred to their mailbox (transfer, then the messages button and hangs up), the caller then presses *7 and logs in. However, 1-2 minutes later the receptionist's phone rings. When it is answwered you hear, "I am unavailable please leave a message. It is the voicemail box of the caller who just called in to check her messages. A few things you may want to know: This happens 3-5 times per day. The 0 route from the mailbox is ext 1000, receptionist. There is a short code for 0, feature is dial extension, and telephone number is 1000. Thoughts? |
