Hi,

I have an Avaya IP403 running 3.14 firware. All is workin well apart from a slight issue with the 2030 phones we have.

When you make a call in order for the other person to hear you, you have press the "Speaker" button twice.

Is there any way around this?

If not, do the 5410's or 5420's work in that system?

is it on 3.14 or 1.14 ?
probably your manager is 3.14 and then is your 403 on 1.14 (dont ask why)
then you can't have the 54xx
is it on 3.14 then upgrade to the latest but i don't think there is a 3.14 release

Sorry, it is running 3.2 when I run the discovery from the Management Console

Any ideas on my issue?

i don't know anything about the 2030 but the 54xx will work on 3.2

I was under the impression that the 403 was a DT system?

I was wondering whether that would indicate that I should downgrade the firmware to v3.0?

just take a look at the 403
if there is dt on it then it is dt :D
if it says ds then it is ds
but you use 2030 so it must be dt
