IP Office 4.0 Software
I noticed that there is a new GA release for IP Office. Has anyone tried it? I have been having problems with my VoiceMail Pro Server ever since I upgraded to ver 3.2[15]. I am running XP Pro for my VoiceMail Pro computer and the vmprov5svc crashes about once a week if not more. I was thinking about upgrading if people have had a good experience.

Re: IP Office 4.0 Software
Upgrade to 3.2.53 Have no issues at all.
4.0 sounds like it is stable. Was thinking of upgrading to it in the office here. But I will never install a GA release at a customer site or new install. Call it gun shy from rel 2 era. |

Re: IP Office 4.0 Software
I've found a bug in 3.2.57, and it's a bad one. After I create an incoming call route and point it to a specific user, that user can no longer make outbound calls. When they attempt to dial out their phones says "Incompatible". After I remove the incoming call route the user can dial out again. This has happened on two IP 406 V2's. I'm going back to 3.2.55 until Avaya fixes this.

Re: IP Office 4.0 Software
I have a ticket open with Tier III on 3.2.57 also. When you try to record anything in vmpro, it cuts off the first few seconds of recording. When recording the name for the company directory, sometimes it will not recognize anything.
Going to try the new 4.0 maint release on our system today. We'll see if it is stable. |
