Caller ID & ground start on IP Office
I have an IP 406 with 12 analog trunks that were just converted from loop start (with caller id) to ground start. Since the conversion I have lost inbound caller id. The provider was able to prove that they are sending caller-id from the CO by connecting a caller-id analog set directly on the trunk at the RJ. The IP office will not display caller ID.
Does anyone have any idea what happened or have any suggestions? I assume that IP Office supports CID on ground start trunks... am I wrong? The trunks are delivered from the carrier via a T1 and are converted to ground start analog trunks via an Adtran unit at the customers site. Everything works fine when the trunks are optioned as loop-start. I understand the IP office required two rings to detect caller-id, and this is not the issue. |
