Dial By Name - Ring Assistant?
The boss wants her Dial By Name entry to ring her assistant's phone instead of the boss's phone. So when a caller selects the boss from the Dial By name menu (also called a Directory), the caller will be put through to the assistant instead of the boss. Can someone please tell me the best way to do this?

1) Create a condition with the condition editor:
Compare: Value A: $KEY EQUALS Value B: (bosses extn) 2) After your Dial by Name Action, put a test condition action, testing the condition we just created 3) True goes to a Transfer action that goes to the secretary False goes to Transfer action that goes to $KEY That work for ya? |
