Hi,

I posted this a couple of months ago,pre upgrade to version 3. Here's an updatem post version3:

I've got several users that are members of more than one group. As we know, toggling the HGEna button, puts these users in and out of all groups they're members of.

I know that in version 3.0.59, I can set up individual HGEna buttons for specific groups. I did this, but it doesn't work.

What I've done on 2420 phone on digital telephony tab of user:
Action HGEna
Telephone Number 849 (849 is group number)

Same user has HGEna button for other group. No other config on this button

But, when I press any of these two buttons, they seem to control each other, ie, pressing HGEna also makes HGEna849 active. Pressing HGEna, takes HGEna out of group.

Basically, it's working right.

Have I done anything wrong here?

Hmmm.. I just tried this on a 3.0.59 system and it worked perfectly for me. One small thing - I happen to have a general HGEna button with no groups associated with it. Not sure if that makes any difference, but it might.. I used it to toggle my state a couple of times during the testing process. Give it a whirl.

FYI on R2 you had to use shortcodes... I could never get it to work with the HGEna button. Which of course meant the lights and toggle ability didn't work, so you needed one shortcode for enable, another for disable, for each group you wanted to control. Kinda sucky. Very happy they have fixed this up in R3.
