ISDN BRI diagnostic
We use ISDN BRI trunks for inbound/outbound calls.
Is there a way for us to perform a diagnostic on these trunks to check if all are live? Also, in the event of the line failure, is there an alert that can be generated? Thanks. |

Re: ISDN BRI diagnostic
With the ip office Diagnostically i'm not sure. You can use the status program and fill up the hunt groups and watch to make sure all are active. Using monitor would tell you if you loose your d-channel. You can also watch you setup messages through monitor.

Re: ISDN BRI diagnostic
SNMP will generate messages in case a BRI fails.
In SysMon you will get messages like "Line 5 = Down" etc, but this is real time information and i can imagine you can't read all output all day. |
