Eu 24

412 w/ 3.0.59, two EU 24's per DSS module with 5420 phones. Can't get the EU 24's to function.
They only have : by the buttons, not the programming (starting with button number 25)- Bridged Appearance buttons. Have checked DSS status and rebooted, unchecked it and rebooted again - but they won't function. Anyone know the trick to these??

Re: Eu 24

Hi Danny,

I had a similar problem using these modules on the 5610 handsets. I believe you need to use a standard patch lead for the line cord instead of the supplied line cord for the 5610 handset. This is because the EU24 uses the signalling down pins 7 and 8 of the digital port.

Hope this helps.

Re: Eu 24

The lead you need to use is supplied with the EU24, yes it carries power and that power comes via the '20 phone from an Avaya 1151B1/B2

Re: Eu 24

Thanks for the replies. What worked for me was unplugging the line cord from the power brick, counting to two and plugging it back in.
