Multi-Sector Erase Error

Hi Everyone

I was facing few difficluties while erasing the multi-sector from the IP401. When i entered AT-X, it prompt me that the OS has been removed but after a while, it came up with an error, FEC port RX error 82. Can someone please advise as to what I'm missing or doing wrong here.

A FEC error is a error on the network, corrupted frame or something.

"Fast Ethernet Controller", ie. ethernet LAN interface. Usually caused by malformed packets - however FEC error codes are usually 3 or 4 digits.

Back to basics, why are you doing an AT-X on the box, that's usually the last resort - what upgrade was being attempted?

The error you report is not uncommoin when erasing the firmware via the DTE port
Provided you have your BootP enty correctly configuredd in manager the system should download the firmware without problem

To repeat Sizbut - ONLY USE THE DTE PORT WHEN ALL ELSE HAS FAILED!

Well guess i feel stupid, just had to change my PC IP. It's OK now.
