I am having a problems with a new install of Voicemail Pro 3.1. The IP Office control unit is a 406v2 running 3.1(2901) software (US). I can not get the VMPro to send a vm message wav file to the users email address. The voicemail pro computer has internet access, and I can send e-mails from the outlook express client just fine. I do not have it setup as a Voicemail Pro Server. I choose the typical configuration when I did the install. The user/extension on the 406 is setup to have a copy of its messages forwarded to e-mail and the email address is setup on the 406. The extension gets voicemails, and can access its voicemail messages just fine. I have it configured for SMTP in control pannel, however when I do a check I get an error. I do not see all the options in control pannel as they show in the Avaya Doc's. I only have two tabs, one for email account, smtp settings. Any suggestions?

I did resolve the problem. I had intalled McAfee VirusScan Enterprise on the VMPro Server. It was blocking ports that VMPro used to send e-mail messages. I manually removed the blocked ports in McAfee VirusScan Enterprise and now I am getting e-mails.
