Recording troubles

Using IPOffice412 v 3.0 (59) and VoiceMailPro, outgoing messages and voice mail recording works fine.

However, if we try to record a conversation (either via the user mandatory setting or with a pre-programmed CallRecord button on a phone), as soon as recording starts, the line instantly goes silent until I stop recording at which point it goes back to normal. The recording does generate an empty voice-mail message.

This was happening with an older release so I upgraded to 3.0(59), and I've double/triple checked all the settings.

HELP!

Re: Recording troubles

I should also add that we experience the same problem while conferencing - which is what I understand VMP uses to record calls. So what is it in IPOffice that would cause us to go silent upon Conf?

TIA!

Re: Recording troubles

Can you try if it is possible to break in manually into conversations or use monitoring.
Is it possible to create a conference?
The reason for asking is that i think that there is a problem with the conference bridge as recording use this also.
if the conference bridge is ok then i can't help you, too complicated for a forum unless someone had the same issue.
