Dial Paging!

I have an IP 412 on a total IP platform. All users have 5620 sets. :( I programmed dial paging on all sets to page a group of phones. It worked for several weeks and then the customer said that some phones could not page the group. All program was present. I had already scheduled an upgrade to 3.0.59 from 3.0.44. Now nobody can dial page. I can't even dial page a single extension. The speaker light comes on but no audio. Any ideas???:(

Taking a guess here. I assume that you have a hunt group set up with all your members and it's configured as a Group ring with no voicemail or queueing. Secondly, you have a short code set up like *80 with a telephone number of the group and dial page as the feature.

If this is how you've set it up, I'd do a sanity check to make sure that no recent Short Code is in conflict with the short code for DialPage. Secondly, if you go to the extension list of the group, are all the members enabled?

If it worked before and gradually stopped working, I would suspect a short code conflict. Good luck.

Everytime I hear about a 'one way' conversation with IP hardphones, I want to look at the 'direct media path' option on the IP lines / or extensions. cpF
