IP 406 Analog trunks

Is there a way to make one of the 16 analog trunks into an extension? If so can someone pass on the help needed?

Thanks,
Scott

Re: IP 406 Analog trunks

Thanks.

Is there a way to produce an Analog signal from the digital ports?

I need to have an Analog signal out to our security gate keypad.

Re: IP 406 Analog trunks

If you have a v2, why don't you use one of the 2 pots ports on the 406?

Wish I did have V2. I have a 403 v2 at our remote location and love the 2 POTS ports. We have 2 cordless phones on them.

Re: IP 406 Analog trunks

You may be able to find a device that will use an analog trunk port for your application. Or is the keypad "embedded" and can't be modified? There are lots of door-box type systems that integrate on a trunk level. Can you describe your application in more detail?

Re: IP 406 Analog trunks

The application is from doorking www.doorking.com. We have one of their higher level techs coming out to reprogram their keypad to work with the digital signal. They advertise their systems as being able to work with existing phone directories and systems. Soooo, it's on their head to make it work and they will.
