labor time for IPO config & installation?

Have those of you that have done a lot of IPOffice installations come to a standard time factor you use when proposing cost of an IPO project? I'm thinking of something like ? hours for benchtime config, ? hours for onsite installation and placing phones, perhaps based on station count and line count?

I'd be most pleased to have your input.

Thanks

I would guess if it is a new PC to be set up about 20 to 32 hours. That really depends on the installing technicians experience and wether the information you get from the customer is accurate. Doing things more than once always adds a lot of time to a project.

Are you trying to bid a system out?

Well, the IPOffice works out of the box, you just need to load the lic. key server on a PC for the older 406s. In this case out of box, 4 users, already cabled to the rack/desk w/digital phones. It'll take drivetime + 1 hour to rack it + materials.

On the other hand, if you have multiple expansion modules, complex routing, VMPro, complex auto attendant, IP phones with questionable network & Paging system, it's going to take more than 30 hours.

If you're looking to standardize pricing I'd start with number of stations, then build on that.

How many stations? A: 200
Are we desi-ing stations? A: Yes
Are we placing sets? A: Yes
Is there a floorplan with clearly marked extension numbers? A: No
Billing - 5 minutes per station to place, desi and build = 17 hours

Do they have IP phones? A: Yes,
Did they have network assessment? A: No
Billing - Hourly for phone troubleshooting.

Voicemail Pro: A: Yes
Complex apps that they have mapped w/greetings? A: No, just voicemail
Customer setting up server or we are providing and building server? A: We Providing
Billing - 5 hours, load OS, patch, load VMPro, admin software and key server

...
