Question IP Small Office Problem - Cannot dial out

Hi there I work for a reseller in Canada and we are having a problem with one of our clients Small office. Specificly on occasion the customer cannot dial out (or they have to try at least 2-3 times before they can ) however they can recieve calls. We have had our telco test the lines numerous times and the lines are within spec. We have also changed out systems twice already and it seams that this provides a quick fix but that is about it. The customer is using loop start lines and they where on release 2.1 which we have now updated to 3.0.

I guess one more problem I should mention is that we are having problems making the inbedded voicemail opperated in night mode. It seams that either we have all auto attendant or nothing. Any assistance that can be provided would be helpful.....

Best Regards

Re: IP Small Office Problem - Cannot dial out

check that the unused lines have a diferent outgoing line group Id otherwiase the ipo will try to place the call on a disconnected trunk & fail.

What are you seeing on Call Status? I'm wondering if some of your trunks are locked up - the carrier may not be providing a proper disconnect supervision signal.
