Call forwarding IP403

Hi

I set up call forwarding in Phonemanager Lite to a mobile number. I dial the DDI to the avaya phone, it redirects as expected to the mobile. However, the mobile only rings twice and the call is dropped. The call to the avaya is still ringing at this point and then after 20 seconds goes to voicemail.

The IP403 v2.1.27

Phone Manager Lite V2.0.4

To make things slightly more difficult the Avaya is connected to a Siemens Hicom, Siemens connected to the ISDN30 gateway. We are in the process of moving the Siemens users across to the avaya, eventually we will remove the Siemens

Thanks

Tony

Re: Call forwarding IP403

Suspect the delay in processing the call means the no answer timer is kicking in after two actual rings on the mobile, then call is being reclaimed and sent to voicemail. Very common with diverts to mobile.
Only real fix is to extend the no answer timer out.

Re: Call forwarding IP403

In Manager, select:

the appropriate 'user' that are forwarding calls to

Telephony tab

no answer time (3.0) or allocated answer interval (prior to 3.0)

If the field is blank, the no answer time is set to the default, which can be found under the system settings, also on the telephony tab.

I'm guessing it's set at the default (15 seconds). Change it to 25 and see how it works.

Re: Call forwarding IP403

Sorry if this looks like nit picking but 1 minor correction

No Answer Time = Manager PC regional settings set to English United Kingdom
Allocated Answer interval = Manager PC regional settiings set to English United States

These differences have appeared in all versions of manager.
