I use a Linux box for most network services, including DHCP.
The necessary DHCP configuration to allow IP phone to obtain IP address from a Linux server is as following option 46xxOptions code 176 = string; option 46xxOptions "MCIPADD=192.168.67.231,MCPORT=1719,TFTPSRVR=192.1 68.67.10,TFTPDIR=/tftpboot/IPOFFICE/,VLANTEST=0"; Of course you need to adjust the IP addresses and TFTP path. Hope this is helpful. |
