Hi Everyone,

I upgrade one ip406 from 2.1(27) to 3.0 and all the telephones now they have one * (star) before the name of the user at the display. Any idea about that;; And something else about the 2420 phones, after the upgrade all telephones start upgrade the 2420. Why????

Not to fear, these are all normal things with R3. The * simply indicates idle line preference - if the user simply picked up the handset, they would get dialtone from the particular appearance button that the * is beside.

The 2420's have supported upgradable firmware on the definity platform for a while now, with R3 the IPO can now upgrade 2420 firmware also.
