Hi guys wonder if you can help with this problem, im completely new to voice over IP and am still learning its capabilities. My company has just brought in an Avaya IP403 that we are now trying to implement. We are using Voicemail Pro 3.0 to design our autoattendant, however we are falling at one of the first hurdles as when the user phones in we want the user to enter there PIN to determine which advisor they are transferred to. As these numbers could be easily miskeyed we require the input to be repeated to the user.

The information I can’t seem to find anywhere is about the generic TTS license. I have seen info about the Avaya TTS solution (obviously you have to purchase these keys as bolt ons) but we really are not to sure about the generic solution, is this free of charge and the license is just elusive or is it an extra bolt on that’s just cheaper than the Avaya TTS distribution license.

Would really appreciate any help at all.

I'll do you one better - you don't need any licence (other than VMPro of course) to speak numbers. It's only when you need to speak text that you need either the Scansoft TTS licence (Avaya TTS) or the Microsoft TTS (Generic TTS) licence. So, to repeat a keyed in account code 1045 as "one zero four five" you don't need any TTS licence. If you wanted to say it as "one thousand and forty five" then you would, however, need one of the TTS licences.
