Missed Calls

Hi,

Is there a way to show what calls have been missed.. like a display on the telephone or would they have to have call status running on their machine to show the missed calls?

pbx is ipoffice 2.1

Re: Missed Calls

the best call log is in Phone Manager on the PC. Any user can download Phone Manager Lite (the free version) and have missed calls show up in their "missed calls" column. This is far superior to running the Call Status feature, because it can be minimized to run on the toolbar on the lower-right-hand portion of the PC screen. The icon that runs on the toolbar will change from green to red once a call has been missed, and the user can see what calls have been missed by opening up phone manager.

Alternately, you can also get call logging capabilities with a 46xx or 56xx series IP phone or with a 24xx or 54xx digital phone. Phone Manager is the easiest to use b/c it actually notifies the user when a call has been missed (with the red light).

hope this helps.

Re: Missed Calls

You'll find it on the 3.0 User CD. It should be on the website support.avaya.com

Here's the link I took to get there:

http://support.avaya.com/japple/css/...ucketID=108025

IP Office 3.0 User Software (only good if you're on 3.0 of IP Office--if you're not on 3.0, try selecting a different release from the drop-down menu above). Also, the documentation CD is great if you're looking for help in the future.

Re: Missed Calls

For Phone Manage Skins, chack out my FTP server

FTP:ipguru.no-ip.info

As to upgrading to V3.0, I would always say the 1st question should be why?
If it is to ake advantage of a new feature then yes otherwise "if it aint broke DONT fix it"

My experience of V3.0 in field trials was promising (i even know of some sites that adopted the V3.0 trial software as it was more reliable than the V2.1 release!)

There is a list of known issuses that are to be resolved in iether a maint release of V3.1
This doc is also on my FTP server

Re: Missed Calls

I have Phone Manager Lite 2.2 installed on work machines.
Now on some machines there are tabs for:

Missed | In | Out | All

But on others I only see the options:

Missed | Speed Dials | Messages

There is no option on the preferences section to change this? Has anyone had any experience of configuring the application? Driving me nuts

Re: Missed Calls

The "In" and "Out" tabs are only available to user's running Phone Manager Pro.

Same software but the user is set as a 'Pro' user in the IP Office systems configuration (along with a Phone Manager Pro license for the number of Pro users required).

Re: Missed Calls

If the modle number of your phones end in D+ then you should be able to go in to the phones menu and see missed calls. MENU -> MENU -> NEXT -> HIST.
