Conference Mode

Hi,

when you make a 3 way conference, you heard a "beep" "beep".
Do you know how is it possible (if it is possible) to modify or to avoid this double tone ?
Because, it is like the DTMF "#", and it perturbs an automat.

thanks

Re: Conference Mode

Thanks,
I saw this ...
but do you know if it is the same issue with the feature "CallSteal",
because I have the same problem,
and I don't have any IPOffice to test it now.

best regards

Re: Conference Mode

I thought the conferencing tone is the 10 second tone kinda like the call recording tone. That tone is there by default in the US not really sure about the UK. The help file states:

Conferencing Tone: Default = Off
When off, gives a single tone when a new party joins a conference and double-tone when a party leave a conference. When on, repeats the conference tone every 10 seconds to all conference parties.

Hope this helps

Re: Conference Mode

After re-reading your post it sounds like this tone is an ongoing thing not just the enter and exit tones. Uncheck conference tones and that should get rid of that
