VM PRO / Stop recording

I saw there was possible to manualy start call recording via a short code (
But is it possible to stop this call record via an other short code, instead of putting the call on hold ?

thanks

Re: VM PRO / Stop recording

Have you tried to dial the very same thing as when you start it?

Re: VM PRO / Stop recording

You don't have to wait - restart the voicemail pro service and it will run for another 2 hours. Great for sales demos, lab work, etc. - which is exactly why they built that 2 hour buffer in. I just wish that were the case with the other licences too :)

Re: VM PRO / Stop recording

The same button you used to start it should work. You can also save yourself a button and just initiate the call recording from the telephone menu. That is if you have 6400D+ or 4600D+ sets.

MENU -> MENU -> FUNC -> RECORD

Re: VM PRO / Stop recording

The two hours unlicensed operation is also just great for people leaving site thinking everything's working fine.

Would help the world for the VMPro GUI to display "Unlicensed" in the title bar as a warning or something similar or to make the 2-hour period optional and off by default.

Ha Ha Sizbut you just dont know how many times I've been bitten by that problem. I usually get messed up because the license server gets hung up after changing things such as IP Addresses...
