Tapi

On the earlier IPO version, I was able to place calls thru Outlook Contact using the Ayava Tapi driver (installed during User Suite).

After upgrading to version 3.0 and using the new User Suite & Driver, I cannot dial thru Outlook Contact.

See attached pic. In the 'Connect using line' option I would earlier get an IP Office option as well. This is not there anymore.

Please help.

Re: Tapi

Did you go into phone and modem options in the control panel and configure it? If so, try removing it from that dialog box, close it, go back in and reinstall.

Re: Tapi

Included on the User CD is a patched version of the driver.
You need to copy this into c:\windows\system32.
B4 you can do this you need to stop the telephony service.
It may be easier to re-boot into safe mode.

Also in the phone and modem options, the installer puts the user name as the Full name on the IP Office instead of the short user name, so check and change that.

You may also need to run:
Start -> Run -> tcmsetup /c IPADDRESSOFIPO

Hi Dave,
Thanks for your input. I downloaded the 3.0 User Suite and it only comes as a single exe file (no seperate driver). Is there anywhere else from where I can download the patched driver?

Also, I've checked on the User name in the phone & modem options - its not Full name but correctly the short name. I've also run the tcmsetup command but still no luck.

Please help further.

Thanks
