Angry Remote Maintenance

I have problem with remote maintenance pls somebody can guide me.

I did the programming as follows.
Created the new user "244"
User name - link
Password - osi

created the RAS entry as follows -
name - link
extension -244

Incoming call route -
routed the 1st trunk in SOE - to "link"

when i make a call from my PC to IPO i get modem signal it waits for user name & password verification after some time i get error "721"

My PC has windows XP sp1

i belive i am doing something worng in the programming . i am requesting to guide me to solve this problem

Do you get some more explanation about the windows error?
Sorry but it is difficult to guess what that error is.

Delete the user and RAS entry you created and use the default entries instead. Change the password for the user RemoteManager to whatever you want to use ("osi" if you like)

Set the incoming call route for line 1 to DialIn.

When setting up the dialup networking in windows, use login: RemoteManager and the password you selected (eg. osi)

Make sure you are on a current firmware release on the SOE (2.1.31 or 3.0.40)

You have a double negative....

Make sure the user LINK has dial in user checked. Then rename your RAS connection to DialIN as it is by default. Change the incoming call route to route to DialIN. This should sove your problem.
You will use LINK and osi as your password. I just found out that the username is case sensitive when dialing into an IP Office.
