pop outlook express

Does any know or has gotten Outlook Express to pop or outbound dial?

We are using PMPro and the "Pop Outlook" checkbox is grayed out. All others, "Pop goldmine", "Pop ACT", etc. are available.

I am begining to think that Outlook must be used instead of Oulook Express. Although, all the pieces appear to be in place within Outlook Express for Popping and dialing to work.

I have been told, by Avaya, that Outlook Express is not supported, only Outlook.
