Small Office - E1 Card Support???

All,

My company has an IP Office 412 here in the states, we are setting up a smaller office in Mexico and want to put a Small Office in. The problem I am having is verifying that the Small Office supports the USE of an E1 Card. I have gone through three vendors who just scratch their heads and stare at me like I have two noses.

I was under the impression that the Avaya product is a British export, and that england uses the same E1 format as Mexico.

Any Help, negative or positive would be appreciated.

KD

Re: Small Office - E1 Card Support???

The SOE does not support E1 or any sort of PRI.
For this you need a 403 minimum

Re: Small Office - E1 Card Support???

The SOE does in fact support PRI. You can install the exact same T1/PRI card as you would in a 403 in the back of the SOE (you have to break open the plastic at the back of the case).

However, it's my understanding that SOE will not support E1 - the SOE was meant for north american release. In europe where they use E1's the equiv product was the IP401.

The V3.0 instalation wizard certainly alows me to specify an E1 Borard in a SOE.
