override call barring

I like to know a way to override the call barring on a 'public' phone in the hallway of a hospital.
Visitors are not allowed to use that phone for external phones but authorized personel should be able to enter a pin-code and use the phone as they like.

Re: override call barring

For a very simple way, for example,
if the user has a SC set e.g.
SC ?
Number .
Feature : Busy

to create the call barring, add another SC such as

SC 12345N
Number: N
Feature: Dial

then anyone who knows the prefix 12345 (or something more suitable) would be able to dial out.
Maybe worth a try.
Cheers

Re: override call barring

IP Office does not authorization code feature.

You may use account code for authorization purpose. For example,

1. Create an account code: 8099 (for example)
2. Create a Short Code

Short Code: [9] 1N; //Whatever needed to make external call
Phone Number: 1N;
Force Account Code: ticked

When an external call is made, it will require an account code. Only valid account code (8099) will allow the call to be made.

However, if your system uses account code for billing purpose, be careful of not messed up.
