Outgoing speach amplifier

Hello all,

I know there are devices out there that can amplify phone calls so the other party can hear you more loudly. But, can my IPO 412 do this?

I've had a look in Manager, but can't seem to see anything obvious.

Thanks.

G!

Re: Outgoing speach amplifier

There are gains you can set in the line options for each individual line. The problem comes if you need to do in on a user by user basis. Eg 1 user talks loud, another talks soft and you are trying to equalize them.

To change the gains:
on an analog line
click the Analog Tab
and change the value in Gains - TX and RX

Similar on PRI, etc
Select the channel in the PRI
Change the TX Gain and RX Gain.

I haven't ever used these, so I'm not sure on any cavaets or problems.
Anyone?

Re: Outgoing speach amplifier

Thanks for the info, I'll look into that.

But, as you said, we're going to need a solution whereby individual users can boost the volume to the customer, but not to all customers.

Is there any third party devices anyone can recommend?

Thanks.
