Post Outcalling

Has anyone been able to setup outcalling on the IP Office? I would like to be able to cascade the outcalling since I can't figure a way around the fact IP Office will only outcall once. Thanks.

When a user gets a message, the IP outcalls to a pager or cell phone. If this is not answered the IP office outcalls another pager or cell phone.

Fire up the Engineer's Toolkit that came with your IP Office. Then click on Documentation, then Job Aids. Near the bottom of the page you will find "Voicemail Pro Example Exercises" ... click on that. Then, click on "Using a Callback Start Point" in the index and you will be taken to the section that describes in great detail how to setup callback start points and the related Manager application entries. I'm not sure that you can have the IP Office call more than one location, but this will get you started on your experiment.

I have not found a way to get the system to call another number if not answered. If anyone can please let me know.

You could try getting the VM to call to a Hunt Group.

Creat dummy susers on the system with a foward all cals number & foward hunt group calls enabled.

this should then try each number in turn

Post Outcalling made simple

I recently programmed outcalling to a pager with the IP403. I never could find a simple instruction on this procedure. I hope this helps someone who was stuck like me.

In Manager create a short code for each phone number and the associated extension. (Example: Ryan Hale extension 225 has pager of 317-555-1140)

Short Code - *225
Number - 3175551140,,,,*225#,,,,225#
Line Group - 0
Action - Dial

In the user form (For Ryan Hale) create a source number to dial P*225

In VoicemailPro create a new user for Ryan Hale

Start Point - to a call back (Under specific select his mailbox) - Get Mail

Save and Make Live

This worked for me and I hope it helps someone.
