Phone manager error
This a 'Phone Manager' problem (I think!).
I have a telephone user whos phone manager was working just fine. But, just recently, when the number is called, an error pops on the screen. "Class not registered" I've un-installed and re-installed phone manager, checked his permissions and also his profile on the Manager application. I've even given the user local admin rights to his pc, but still no good. Thing is, when I log on as a domain admin, it works. I get no error at all! Any ideas would be greatly apprciated! Thanks, George! |

Re: Phone manager error
I have seen this before but i was not really been able to locate the problem because the customer did not wait for me, he reinstalled the complete OS.
I think this is not really a PM problem but a windows problem. In Windows there are a lot shared DLL's, if a user uninstall software then usually it will ask if it's ok to remove some shared DLL's or change the register accordingly. Now you re-installed the PM software but isn't it a .NET class wich became unregistered? Try to reinstall the .NET framework. |
